Description
Since 2011, Vincent Munier has travelled for several months through the Kham region, from the desert steppes to the sources of the Mekong, via the foothills of the Kunlun Mountains. The harshness of the terrain, the high altitude (5,000 metres), the extreme climatic conditions, the encounters with nomads and the difficulties with the Chinese authorities have made this quest a strong adventure in a region of the world that is still not very accessible.
His fellow travellers also tell of their own experiences, following the tracks of the snow leopard and other fascinating highland species.
