Kamtchatka

Kamchatka, a 1.250 kilometre peninsula located on the Oriental coast of Russia, remains as one of the rare areas in the world where nature is still untouched. And the Brown Bear is "the boss" in this wild part of the world.

"Kamchatka symbolized to me one of the last virgin lands on the planet. Going there was a dream, but the reality of this big and wild territory exceeded my imagination. A vast tundra, as far as the eye can see, active volcanoes, changeable atmospheres, the bear Kobalann in its realm, and the fascinating nomadic Even people, who welcomed me... I only wish these images could pass on a little part of my dream!"
